Fall decor doesn’t have to be complicated and most importantly it can be cost effective. I love shopping my own home and reusing some key things each year.
1. SHOP YOUR GARDEN
I love snagging some grasses and hydrangeas and adding them to some vases and spaces indoors. It brings some warmth and coziness to each room. We planted many hydrangeas over the past few years so we can reap the rewards during the late summer/early fall when they have crisp colours. Most side roads have great grasses to snag too. Costs zero dollars! I like to splurge and grab some Mum plants for the porch- just remember to water them often!
2. FAUX PUMPKINS
Faux pumpkins have come along way and you can get some really nice, realistic looking ones to use year after year. I love using them on the porch and inside and typically only buy pumpkins when it comes time to carve them. My favourite faux pumpkins are from Michaels. If you wait until closer to Halloween you can score some great clearance sales too!
3. PRINTS
Swapping out your summer print into a fall print is super easy, affordable and you can re-use a frame you already have! I love our collection of minimalist designs and and always an easy, budget swap!
